Two Office Panoramas

I was doing a shoot for our official business website, and wanted to share the two images that I'll use on the page I'm currently designing. This is our main office (two sides of the same room). The website will also be done in English so I'll give you the link once everything is done.

Sunday self-portraits

Just a few self-portraits shot on a whim yesterday - I couldn't resist the wonderful weather! I'm slowly discovering more and more locations near my house and when I found this field a few weeks back whilst out walking, I knew I had to return to shoot in it ♥

Just before I took these images, my camera fell onto a sharp stone and cracked the screen. The LCD is fine thank god - I just have to wait until the bank holiday is over to see what options I have for repairing it. If you've ever had a similar thing happen or have any knowledge about this stuff, I'd love to know the best way to go about repairing it!

Take a look behind the scenes of our "The Golden Hour" photo session in this video. You can see the reflector we built on spot and that i mentioned earlier. This was just a small session without any major gear. The goal was to use the natural sunset light to create some amazing portraits and landscapes. I hope to post more behind the scenes videos soon.

Scotland through Instagram

I'm yet to make a start on the "proper" pictures I shot whilst on holiday as I'm busy retouching shoots from the last few weeks, but for now here is a little roundup of my Instagram efforts which I must admit I am quite happy with - I'd never have imagined that one day I'd be happy with shooting a good chunk of my holiday pictures through a phone camera!

L-R from top: A beautiful view from an RSPB reserve near our house • Red kites at feeding time, swooping down over the bird hide we watched them from • Soggy cameras on one of the only bad weather days we had, it made for wonderful landscapes though! • The tallest, most wonderful trees I have ever seen • Walking on a beach decorated by the sea with swirls of shells • Behind the scenes, taking self-portraits at the beach • The Mull of Galloway, the most southerly point in the country.

Just before I went away, I managed to fit in a test - just something simple, nothing crazy with the styling and no make up artist, back to basics. After an emergency location change when we found the original was full of weird men (eek!), we found a beautiful park in which to take some fresh, summery images in the glorious warm weather. Hope you like them!

2-minute shoot

Last week on a client shoot I got the opportunity to work with a male model for something like the second time in my entire career - crazy, isn't it? So when we had a few minutes to spare between the model leaving and the big post-shoot studio tidy-up, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to step outside and take a few of my own shots of him before he went home. Thank you Will - you are a star!

I'd been absolutely dying to do a pastel-themed shoot since about March time, and had planned all the styling by April, but sadly had to postpone it due to this year's terrible weather. So as a result this shoot was a super long time coming, and by the time it came around I was ridiculously excited to get started and finally create the pictures I saw in my head!

The lovely Lily from Red Brick Lipstick came along to assist and Siobhan worked her amazing make up magic which fit into the shoot seamlessly as always - working with people you get on with so well really does make a difference so I can't thank them enough for their hard work ♥
