I just love to photograph food. Not only does the subject always look good, but also with just a few small steps you can easily achieve great shots. What you need when taking pictures of food is a good strong white side light, that almost blows it out (best is natural light by the window). Next you'll need a shallow depth of field (With the Canon 50mm 1.8 no problem). And last you'll need a good low angle to shoot the photos. But the last one is to taste of course.
