Scarlett of Soho

I'm so excited to finally share these photos - the SS14 campaign I shot for designer eyewear brand Scarlett of Soho earlier this year. Scarlett of Soho are a brand new startup, offering fresh and interesting designer glasses from just £97 and it's run by some of the most inspiring, friendly people I have ever met. The commitment, passion and hard work that has gone into creating and launching their product is staggering and I honestly cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them.<br /><br />We shot the campaign on a lovely sunny day at the end of February, walking through the streets of Paddington with 4 lovely models, styled impeccably by Angelo Di Palma, with hair and makeup by Siobhan Drew. Joseph Rock album artwork

I've always loved the idea of crowdfunding: people uniting through a joint interest to support a cause they believe in. So when classical guitarist Joseph Rock got in touch with me in late March with a view to us shooting his crowdfunded album's artwork together, I was thrilled to have been asked to be a part of his project.<br /><br />He started his Kickstarter campaign as part of his final project at university, the aim of which was to record and produce an album of classical guitar pieces, written by his favourite composer Augustin Barrios. The campaign was a success, going over and above its funding target, and last month I was ridiculously excited to receive a copy of his finished CD in the post.<br /><br />We met up at the beginning of April and spent the day trekking throughout the forest in the beautiful Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. Despite the falling rain that gradually got harder and harder to ignore throughout the shoot, we carried on shooting until we got everything we needed and finished the shoot next to an amazing pile of cut down tree trunks (something I have wanted to include in a portrait shoot for years!)<br /><br /><i>Joseph, thank you for putting up with all of my ideas and the awful weather that day! Pravins jewellers - pt 2

Pravins jewellers - pt 1

In the last half of last year I worked on my favourite client job to date - a three day lifestyle campaign for <a href="http://www.pravins.co.uk/" target="_blank">Pravins</a> the jewellers. The aim was to shoot a set of stylised images which would encompass themes such as seasons, events and holidays, to be rotated on the website throughout the year and also potentially be used for advertising and brochure use. Exciting!<br /><br />Model-wise I instantly knew the gorgeous Felicity (who you may recognise from <a href="http://dismantlerepair-photo.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/ovl-magazine-editorial.html" target="_blank">past work of mine</a>) would be absolutely perfect for both the Autumn shots and Spring/Summer ones, and got her on board straight away. And Heather was a real find of Faye, the art director - her long dark locks and beautiful look were just made for the wintery shots!<br /><br />Anyway enough of my chatter, let's get on with the pictures! Rokit AW11 look book shoot

<div>First of all I think an apology is in order for the amount of time it's been since my last blog post - I have been keeping very busy but all the work I've been shooting is either in the process of being retouched or can't be posted yet for one reason or another.
